Approximately 70% of leases in the city expire between April and September, with landlords doing everything in their power to make it so, taking advantage of high volume summer months.
What does this mean in terms of this summer? With everyone who entered into a lease over the last two years basically now paying above-market rents, volume will be even greater this summer than others as tenants downsize or try to get more for the same price.
