The first 3-4 weeks after listing your property are the most critical ones for traffic and bids. So many sellers wait (as do buyers) for the market to turn more towards them and then kick themselves for not having accepted an early offer. Much like the press on a hot best-seller or the early intensity of a budding romance, properties generate the most interest when they’re “new blood”.
Don’t squander the opportunities that this prime time generates because of what you hope may be a better offer down the road. Clearly, our suggestion is not to accept low-ball offers, rather consider all offers wisely in this period.
